Edge AI · Renewables

Edge AI, powered by renewables.

Industrial Edge AI, deployed where clean energy is produced.

The thesis

Europe won't win AI at the model layer. It will be won across the infrastructure stack.

Compute, energy, data and secure industrial deployment. We sit at the intersection of two of Europe's strongest assets — abundant renewable energy and trusted industrial AI — and turn that overlap into a business.

Edge AITrusted industrial intelligence, processed locally.

Renewable energyAbundant, low-cost clean power at the source.
The problem

Two structural pressures, one shared answer.

Renewable producers (IPPs)

Capture-price decline and rising hours of negative prices are eroding merchant revenue. Grid congestion brings connection queues of 5–10+ years and rising curtailment, while subsidies phase out — pushing merchant and balancing risk centre-stage.

Europe's AI position

A capital and compute gap versus the US and China (Stanford AI Index, 2026), with dependence on non-EU GPUs, cloud and data centres at record cost. AI Act compliance adds complexity — and fuels demand for sovereign, trusted AI.

The insight

Cheap power is curtailed. Sovereign compute is scarce.

Renewable plants increasingly produce low-cost — sometimes negatively priced — electricity the grid cannot absorb. AI needs exactly that: abundant, cheap, local, sovereign energy for compute.

1

Curtailed, low-cost renewable power

2

On-site Edge AI compute

3

Sovereign industrial intelligence

So we bring the compute to the energy.

What we do

Industrial Edge AI, co-located with renewable generation.

Co-location

Modular AI compute installed directly at solar, wind and hybrid sites.

Powered on-site

Runs on local renewable generation and storage, soaking up otherwise-curtailed energy.

Efficient by design

Smaller, specialised, inference-optimised models — the most useful model, not the biggest.

Sovereign & local

Sensitive industrial data processed at the edge, compliant with EU rules by design.

How it works

From clean electrons to industrial intelligence.

01

Generate

PV / wind + storage produce low-cost, clean power.

02

Compute

On-site Edge AI nodes run inference next to the source.

03

Serve

Secure, low-latency AI for factories, grids, hospitals and critical infrastructure.

04

Orchestrate

A cloud-to-edge layer manages models, data and capacity across sites.

Why now

Europe's policy and demand tailwinds are aligning.

42.5%

Renewables target for final energy consumption by 2030 (Fit for 55 / RePowerEU), with 45% ambition.

€20bn

EU fund to build AI factories with 100,000+ advanced AI processors.

2027

AI Act fully in force — driving demand for compliant, sovereign AI across the EU.

10

Strategic sectors targeted by the European "Apply AI" strategy.

The market

A structural, multi-stream market.

Corporate PPA demand

Data centres, hard-to-abate industry and ESG-driven buyers want long-term green power.

Edge AI for industry

Manufacturing, energy, health, logistics, agrifood and climate tech all need local AI.

SMEs & public sector

A large, underserved market favouring simple, localised, "buy European" solutions.

New profit pools

Storage, capacity markets and ancillary services open multi-stream revenue.

Value proposition

Two industries, one platform — each side gains.

For energy producers

A stable, premium offtaker for power that would otherwise be curtailed.

  • Improved revenue certainty
  • Higher capture price
  • Stronger bankability
For industry & AI

Cheap, green, sovereign edge compute right next to the data.

  • Lower cost per inference
  • Low latency
  • Compliance by design
Business model

Multiple, reinforcing revenue streams.

Edge compute-as-a-service

Inference and AI capacity sold to industrial and AI customers.

Power & green premium

Long-term PPAs and clean-energy offtake at competitive prices.

Grid value

Capacity-market participation and ancillary services from storage.

Vertical AI solutions

Managed, sector-specific models and integration services.

Why we win

"Europe can't win AI by copying Silicon Valley's consumer platforms. It can win by applying trusted AI to its strongest industries."

Vertical integration

Energy + compute under one roof — a cost and reliability edge rivals can't easily copy.

Sovereign & trusted

Compliant, EU-hosted and secure by default for regulated industries.

Efficient models

Small, specialised models deliver better economics per inference.

First-mover access

Early positions on sites, grid connections and anchor customers.
